The Graduate School of Public Policy at Hokkaido University is a professional graduate school that was established to develop diverse personnel in response to an era that has seen a dramatic increase in policymakers.

With small class sizes, we aim to develop professionals who comprehensively think about policies in line with the times. By integrating humanities and science through the collaboration of law, economics, and engineering, and with a faculty consisting of researchers and practitioners, we provide specialist and broad-perspective knowledge through theoretical and practical teaching, and help our students to develop practical skills for modern-day issues from global and local perspectives.
